The Regional Snapshot is a publication series developed by the UNODC-KOSTAT Centre of Excellence to present statistical insights on crime and criminal justice. The series demonstrates how raw data can be transformed into meaningful statistical information to support evidence-based policymaking. 

The data featured in the series is collected from Member States through the United Nations Surveys on Crime Trends and the Operations of Criminal Justice Systems (UN-CTS) and is publicly available on the UNODC Data Portal.
